Greg Nettle joins Phil for a look inside leadership, church planting and God's calling to provide for children- spiritually and physically. Greg has a God-given passion for The Church and its responsibility to plant new churches … churches specifically designed to reach out to children at physical and spiritual risk. For 25 years, Greg served as visionary leader of the RiverTree Movement in Ohio. During that time the church grew from 100 to more than 3,000 people, from 1 to 4 campuses, helped plant 15 churches throughout Ohio and 13 in Latin America, sponsored more than 2,000 children with Compassion International and involved more than 200 families in adoption. Greg has co-authored three books: Small Matters, in collaboration with Compassion International President Jimmy Mellado, One Of and Disciples Who Make Disciples. In 1994, Dave Jane moved to central Illinois from England to pioneer a missions program. His plans to return to England after a few years changed when he met Kasey, who grew up in Washington. In 2013, they planted Connect Church. In those 6 years Connect Church has reached their community through a devastating tornado outbreak and massive fire while experiencing amazing growth. At the same time they journeyed through an amazing process from losing a bid for a big box store at an auction to a Grand Opening in the same space with 50% growth.
